Rider

Rider is a shy, female student in Primp Town. She wears a bizarre hair style which she uses to hide her horns (as she is ashamed of them.) She also wears clothing with very long sleeves as to never reveal her hands or arms - It has been speculated rather narrowly that she could be hiding claws or similarly irregular limbs. She also has long, large elfish ears. In the past, she was misunderstood and teased by her classmates. She is good friends with Tarutaru and Amitie.

Though shy, Rider does make several offensive statements in Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, either accidentally or deliberately. However, in the same game, she confirms her lack of self-esteem further by accepting her fate to lose the first match she is versed by Klug in his story mode.

The actual intentions of her English name are speculated, most often to Riddle, but also to various other variants.

Fanart sometimes depicts Rider with Satan due to a small sub-plot in her Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary storyline. In the said sub-plot, Rider asks Satan if she is his brother. Satan denies this sharply, but when Rider asks if he is willing to do so after winning a Puyo match, he agrees. There was also at one point minor speculation that Rider is somehow the modern equivalent of Satan in FEVER, but there is little evidence supporting this claim - more likely she was a modern equivalent to Seriri. In the pre-FEVER Puyo Puyo games, A character named Chico looks similar to Rider, having pointed ears. It is possible that Chico and Rider were intended to have some sort of relation.
