Strange Klug

Strange Klug is an alternate version of Klug, after he became possessed by the book he constantly carries around with him in Puyo Puyo Fever 2. The book contained the evil parts of a demon whose remains became Sig's ancestor. Accidentally, both he and Sig were created on June 16th, the original number of the beast. Some claim Strange Klug is reminiscent of Doppelganger Arle, but he holds no relationship to her, other than being a boss clad in red.

He was sealed in Klug's book because he was supposedly dangerous. However, his power is questionable, because he was sealed half in jest.

In Puyo Puyo 7, he makes a guest appearance as Klug's adult form in Transformation Mode. Since one of his animations consists of recycled Fever 2 art, he has a slightly unique animation compared to standard Klug and his Chibi version. However, the second animation consists of new art drawn to fit Klug's normal animation. This suggests that if Strange Klug had appeared in Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary that he would've borrowed Klug's animations. However, due to the nature of his appearance, it is more likely that he was drawn to fit the animation in order to avoid coding a new one.
